Whataburger is teaming up with the Tennessee Titans this fall for a season-long high school football program across Middle Tennessee, featuring school fundraisers, student-athlete recognition, and weekly game highlights.
Throughout the season, Whataburger will partner with local schools and football organizations for Spirit Nights, with 20% of qualifying sales donated back to participating programs. Schools that draw more than 250 attendees may also receive a $1,000 bonus.
Whataburger food trucks will also appear at select high school games with samples, giveaways, and other activities, including at the Sept. 25 FRA-BGA game and the Oct. 2 Station Camp-Beech game.
The company is also partnering with the Titans on the Friday Night Titans Game of the Week, which highlights one Middle Tennessee matchup each week. The host school receives a $1,000 grant from the Titans Foundation for its football program. Upcoming games include:
Sept. 25: FRA at BGA
Oct. 2: Station Camp at Beech
Oct. 8: Nolensville at Centennial
Oct. 16: Green Hill at Lebanon
Oct. 23: Clarksville at Antioch
Oct. 30: Ravenwood at Brentwood
Whataburger and the Titans will also recognize student-athletes and coaches throughout the season. The Titans High School Coach of the Week, presented by Whataburger, awards a $2,000 Titans Foundation grant to the winning coach’s football program.
Don’t miss out: participating Whataburger locations are still offering a free All-Time Favorite entrée with the purchase of a medium fry and medium drink every Friday in September, from 4 to 11 p.m., through Sept. 25 — the last Friday of the month. Guests can choose from the Patty Melt, Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich, or Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger when ordering in-restaurant; digital orders are limited to the Patty Melt or Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich.
“There’s something special about Friday nights in our communities,” said Donna Tuttle, vice president of marketing for Whataburger. “Whether you’re cheering in the stands, playing under the lights, marching in the halftime show or grabbing a meal with family after the game, those moments bring people together.”
