FEMco, the music platform founded by veteran industry executive Leslie Fram to support women in music, is partnering with Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotelfor a new recurring showcase highlighting female artists in downtown Nashville.
The series, titled FEMcountry at Parton’s Live launched with an in-depth conversation featuring two-time Grammy-nominated artist Jo Dee Messina, followed by performances from Kylie Frey, Ruby Amanfu and Shelly Fairchild on September 22nd.

FEMcountry at Parton’s Live takes place on the third Tuesday of every month. Open to the public, the monthly series will feature a curated lineup of emerging and established female artists and songwriters creating an intimate, discovery-driven experience while providing an important platform for women’s voices. Apparel and lifestyle brand Natural Life serves as Presenting Sponsor.
Tickets will be available through the SongTeller Hotel website.

“FEMco has been committed to creating opportunities that elevate women in music — not just through conversation, but through action,” Fram said. “Partnering with Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel is incredibly meaningful because Dolly has long been the gold standard for using her platform to lift others up.”
Fram said the series is designed to give female artists a place to share their music, build community and connect with audiences looking to discover new talent.
Messina said she was invited to participate before Parton’s passing, making the event even more meaningful.
“The SongTeller is a reflection of who Dolly was. Her life was a song,” Messina said. “To have the opportunity to mentor singer/songwriters feels like a natural part of her larger legacy.”
Messina described the event as a “passing of the torch,” with artists carrying forward Parton’s commitment to supporting future generations of storytellers and songwriters.
The partnership adds another music-focused component to SongTeller Hotel, a downtown Nashville project built around Parton’s life, career and storytelling legacy.
