O.A.R. has officially launched its Three Decades Tour, celebrating 30 years of music and the fan community that has supported the band throughout its career. More Entertainment News
The tour opened with four shows beginning July 23 at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, followed by stops at Merriweather Post Pavilion and heads to FirstBank Amphitheaterin Franklin on August 28th. Find tickets here.
“This tour has become one big celebration, not just for us, but for everyone,” the band said in a release. “It feels like people are celebrating a chance to step away from it all and simply enjoy each other, the summer, love, music and a sense of peace.”
The Maryland stop held special meaning for the group, which formed while its members were still in high school in Rockville. Since then, O.A.R. has grown from playing local shows to building a career that has spanned three decades.
The tour continues throughout the summer with support from Gavin DeGraw, Lisa Loeb, KT Tunstall and Phantom Planet.
The run also marks the launch of O.A.R.’s national partnership with the Robert Irvine Foundation, which supports military service members, veterans, first responders and their families. The partnership will include Charitybuzz experiences, fundraising efforts and special tour activations designed to give fans opportunities to support the organization’s work.
