Nashville SC has acquired attacker Elias Saad on loan from FC Augsburg of the German Bundesliga through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, the club announced July 16, 2026. Elias Saad’s Role at Nashville SC
Saad, 26, is a versatile attacker capable of both creating and finishing scoring opportunities. Nashville SC President of Soccer Operations and General Manager Mike Jacobs described him as someone who fits the club’s identity both on and off the field, joining what Jacobs called an already potent attacking corps.
Saad’s Career in Germany’s Top Two Divisions
Saad has built a steady résumé across German professional soccer. In Bundesliga play, he has three goals and two assists in 28 career appearances split between FC Augsburg (2025–26) and FC St. Pauli (2024–25). At the Bundesliga 2 level, he contributed nine goals and six assists across 50 matches with Hannover 96 (2025–26) and FC St. Pauli (2022–24).
Path Through Germany’s Lower Divisions
Before reaching Germany’s top two tiers, Saad was a prolific scorer in the lower divisions. He posted eight goals in 20 appearances for Buxtehuder SV, followed by 14 goals and eight assists in 35 matches for HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst, and 24 goals and 14 assists in 47 matches for Eintracht Norderstedt.

Saad started two of Tunisia’s three matches at FIFA World Cup 26™, adding to an international career that now spans 17 appearances. He has scored three goals and registered two assists for the Tunisia National Football Team.
