Ella Langley leads the nominations for the 60th Annual CMA Awards with nine nods, as the Country Music Association revealed this year’s nominees. More interestingly, Taylor Swift received her first CMA nomination in years for Single of the Year for “I Knew It, I Knew You,” the song featured in Toy Story 5. This was Swift’s first nomination since 2022. Swift confirmed on Instagram Stories that she will attend the CMA Awards in Nashville this year.
It’s been a big summer for Langley as her song “Choosin Texas” has remained atop the Billboard Hot 100 list for a record 21 weeks, beating out Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which is currently number three on the Hot 100 chart. Langley is close to tying Mariah Carey’s Billboard Hot 100 record with her song “All I Want for Christmas,” which stayed on the list for 22 weeks.
Other nominees include Miranda Lambert, who follows Langley with seven nominations, while Kacey Musgraves and songwriter-producer Ben West earned five each. Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Stephen Wilson Jr. received four nominations apiece, while Luke Combs and Lainey Wilson are among those receiving three.
Combs, Johnson, Langley, Stapleton and Wilson will compete for the night’s top honor, CMA Entertainer of the Year.

This year’s first-time CMA Awards nominees include Smith Ahnquist, Avery Anna, Jack Antonoff, Tim Cofield, Carter Faith, Austin Goodloe, Muscadine Bloodline, Emily Ann Roberts, Caylee Robillard, Laura Sisk, Joybeth Taylor, Thelma & James and Ben West. See the full list of nominees here.
Nominees are selected by the CMA’s 7,083 voting-eligible professional members.
The 60th Annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 7 to 10 p.m. CT on ABC and Disney+, with streaming available the following day on Hulu. Lainey Wilson will return to host “The 60th Annual CMA Awards,” marking her third consecutive year in the role and second consecutive year as solo host.
