CNBC released a new study, “America’s 10 Worst States to Live in for 2026,” and Tennessee ranks at the top. Click for More News
They stated that Tennessee has one of the highest violent crime rates in the nation, according to FBI Statistics. Tennessee also has the third-highest rate of drug deaths, according to the United Health Foundation.
The total quality-of-life score for the state was 64 out of a possible 290 points. It did have the strength for the state’s air quality. There were three weaknesses noted: crime, inclusiveness, and worker protections.
Other states on the list include Arkansas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Missouri, Utah, Georgia, Louisana, Indiana, and Texas.
