Terry Glenn Gannon, 57, of Morrison passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 at St. Thomas Rutherford. Born in Dekalb Co. and raised in Cannon Co., he is the son of Barbara Gannon of Woodbury and the late Lloyd Gannon.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 29 years, Susan Gannon of Morrison; siblings, Kevin (Jessica) Gannon and Lisa (Chris) Patterson both of Woodbury; nieces, Ashley (C.J.) Patterson, Carlie, Annie and Gracie Gannon all of Woodbury, Christy (Ryan) Soper of Shelbyville; nephews, Ricky Gannon, Jr. and Hagen Fann both of Woodbury, Matt Gannon of Murfreesboro; great nephews, Cason and Chase Patterson, Braxten Soper; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Steele, Roger (Rhonda) Steele and Mickey (Teresa) Steele all of Manchester; nieces-in-law, Ashely Steele and Tishena Steele; nephews-in-law, Roger, Jeremy, Michael and Stephen Steele.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ricky and Johnny Gannon. Terry was a retired truck driver, and his favorite hobby was fishing. He also enjoyed working on cars and riding motorcycles when he could. He most enjoyed spending time with his wife, Susie and all his family. One of his favorite things was Sunday dinner at his moms.
Terry never met a stranger. No matter what kind of mood you were in, after you were around him for a few minutes he always made you feel better. You never knew what he was going to say, but you could bet he always had something to say. You couldn’t get nothing over on him. He was definitely one of a kind. He danced to the beat of his own drum and did things his way, on his time and always lived life to the fullest.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 29, 2025 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Prater cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 28, 2025.
