Dorothy Jean Jackson, 86, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on October 27th, 2025, in the home that she shared with family.
Jean was born on February 22nd, 1939, in Walter Hill, Tennessee, to Allen and Ruby Barrett.
She worked as a secretary at IKG Industries for many years until she retired. In retirement she worked as a beloved usher at the Grand Ole Opry for 20 years, where she had many dear friends.
She will be remembered for her love of family and friends.
She is survived by her son Randy (Nancy), her brother Charles, her grandchildren, Stephen and Amelia (Zach), and her great grandchildren Grayson, Beaux, and Annie Jean, plus nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her father Allen Barrett, her mother Ruby Barrett, and her husband Donald Jackson. She is also preceded in death by lifelong friend Thelma Clark.
