The Arts Center of Cannon County is excited to host their very first Tech Camp as part of its Summer Youth Conservatory.
Tech Camp will offer a whole new variety of experiences for those who attend! At Tech Camp, attendees will learn all the different aspects and facets of technical theatre, including scenic design, light and sound, props and costumes, and more!
Tech Camp takes place July 20th – 24th from 9am to 3pm daily. Tech Camp is for students entering 8th – 12th grades. All students attending must bring a sack lunch. Concessions will be available at lunchtime and during the afternoon break. The price of camp is $175 ($165 if paid before June 1st). The Arts Center’s Summer Youth Conservatory is dedicated to the development of life skills through participation in the arts – helping kids reach a new stage! In addition to classes, this program offers the opportunity for all participants to appear on stage in a production at the end of each session. This is also a valuable opportunity to be seen on stage by Arts Center directors. Students will audition for various roles in performances, but every student will be featured. Classes offered are: Fundamentals of Acting / Advanced Acting, Creative Movement / Dance, Voice / Music/ Technical Theatre.
