L.L. Bean Moves Closer to Opening Its First Tennessee Store

L.L. Bean will open its first location in Tennessee on Friday, July 17th, at the CoolSprings Galleria. A sign has already gone up at the mall in the former Forever 21 space as the store prepares for its debut. More Business News

According to the company’s website, the store will host a variety of grand opening events. Grand opening events will kick off on Friday, July 17th, at 8:45am with a ribbon-cutting. At 9am, the first 100 guests will receive a $50 gift card. The celebration continues on Saturday, July 18th with a Boat and Tote giveaway to the first 100 shoppers. From 1 pm until 5 pm, customers can get free custom chainstitch embroidery on their L.L.Bean purchases, courtesy of Memphis-based Piles of Thread.

Ahead of the opening, you can visit the L.L. Bean Bootmobile as it makes its rounds around Middle Tennesesee.

The Bootmobile will stop at Franklin Butchery (129 2nd Avenue N) on Tuesday, July 14, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., then it heads to Hanks Coffee Station (1411 West Main Street, Franklin) on Thursday, July 16, from 8 to 10 a.m., followed by Leiper’s Fork Distillery (3381 Southall Road) that same day from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Finally, the Bootmobile will roll up to a Nashville Sounds baseball game on Saturday, July 18, from 5 to 7 p.m.
