Baskin-Robbins is celebrating the grand opening of its newest Murfreesboro location this weekend with discounted ice cream, giveaways and family-friendly activities. More Eat & Drink News
The celebration will take place Saturday, Aug. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the new shop located at 1741 S. Rutherford Blvd., Suite Q.
During the event, guests can purchase $1.31 ice cream scoops and spin a prize wheel for a chance to win prizes, including free ice cream quarts for a year while supplies last. The grand opening will also feature a live DJ, Baskin-Robbins merchandise giveaways and other prizes.
The new 1,300-square-foot shop includes indoor seating, a custom mural highlighting Murfreesboro landmarks and serves the chain’s full menu of ice cream, sundaes, shakes, cakes and other frozen treats. The location employs 10 team members and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Franchisees Nirav Patel, Ankit Patel and Binjan Patel said they chose Murfreesboro because of its family-friendly community and growing population. They also plan to support local schools, youth sports teams and charitable organizations through sponsorships and fundraising events.
“The iconic 31 flavors and the pink spoon represent joy for so many families, and we wanted the opportunity to pass that same happiness on to a new generation here in Murfreesboro. We aren’t just selling ice cream, we’re building a joyful gathering place where families can celebrate milestones, connect with neighbors and create memories together,” said the Patels.
