Ashlyn RaShea Hare, age 34, of Lascassas, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family who meant everything to her.
Ashlyn was a devoted daughter, loving wife, cherished sister, and a compassionate Nurse, but the title she treasured above all others was Mama.
As high school sweethearts, she shared her life with her husband, Bryant Hare, and together they built a beautiful family centered around their four precious children, Wryn, Ridge, Riggs, and Rowyn. They were Ashlyn’s whole world. Her most cherished place in life was simply being their mama. There was nowhere she would rather be than with her family.
Ashlyn carried that same loving and compassionate spirit into her career as a Registered Nurse with Murfreesboro Medical Clinic SurgiCenter. Caring for others came naturally to her, and through her work she was able to offer kindness, comfort, and reassurance to countless people.
Her faith was an important part of her life. Ashlyn was a member of One Church Calvary in Murfreesboro and Woodbury First Baptist Church.
Ashlyn is survived by her husband of 12 years, Bryant Hare; her beloved children, Wryn, Ridge, Riggs, and Rowyn Hare; her parents, Kristy and Jason Melton; sisters, Addison Melton (Carson Posch) and Allie Melton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Connie and David Hare; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jaclyn Smith, Katie Hare, and Jon Hare; grandparents, Wanda Boss, Barbara Melton, and Jimmy McBride; special aunt and uncle, Angela and Scott Schwartz; and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joyce Karper and Jerry Boss.
Ashlyn’s 34 years were far too few, but the love she gave cannot be measured in years. It can be seen in the family she cherished, in the lives she touched as a nurse, and most of all in four precious children who will forever carry pieces of their mama with them. Her children will grow knowing how completely they were loved, how proud their mama was of them, and how much joy they brought to her life. The love Ashlyn poured into her family will remain a part of who they are for the rest of their lives. Ashlyn loved greatly, cared deeply, and gave her very best to those she loved most. Her family was her greatest joy.
Memorial visitation with Ashlyn’s family will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026, beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Woodbury Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 6:00 P.M. with Bro. Tony Burnett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made at Woodbury Funeral Home for Ashlyn’s precious children.
