The outlet center will host a sneaker recycling event on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Green, located at 4060 Cane Ridge Parkway in Antioch. The event is free and open to the public.
Through Tanger’s ongoing partnership with Sneaker Impact, guests can donate footwear of any type, size or condition. The collected shoes will be recycled and repurposed into raw materials that can be used for future soft-play surfaces at Tanger Nashville and elsewhere in the community.
The effort follows Tanger’s Earth Day sneaker recycling campaign in April, when more than 3,800 shoes weighing approximately 2.75 tons were collected across Tanger centers nationwide.
Visitors dropping off shoes can also take advantage of Tanger’s Semi-Annual Sale throughout September, with participating retailers including Polo Ralph Lauren and Gap.
The Sept. 26 recycling collection will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Green at Tanger Nashville, 4060 Cane Ridge Parkway in Antioch.
