The Nashville Predators set their opening night roster on Monday, Sept. 28, trimming the group to 23 players ahead of the 2026-27 NHL regular season. Nashville opens the season Thursday, Oct. 1, when the Minnesota Wild visit Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville. Predators Finalize 23-Man Roster for 2026-27
Nashville’s active roster includes 12 forwards, nine defensemen and two goaltenders. Captain Roman Josi leads the blue line, while Filip Forsberg, Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Marchessault and Ryan O’Reilly headline the forward group. Juuse Saros returns as the No. 1 goaltender, with Justus Annunen as his backup.

Vitali Pinchuk Assigned to Milwaukee
Forward Vitali Pinchuk was the final roster move before opening night. He was assigned to Milwaukee, Nashville’s AHL affiliate, where he’ll start the season.
Predators Host Minnesota Wild on Oct. 1
Puck drop for the season opener is set for 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Bridgestone Arena. Every fan in attendance will get a free t-shirt presented by Nissan. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com.
