Stephen Trent Fuqua, 37, of McMinnville passed away at his home Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Born in Nashville, he is the son of Diane Roberts Fuqua and the late Freddy Fuqua. In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Tallen Dyer and his grandparents, Fred and Lucille Fuqua and Billy and Beatrice Roberts.
In addition to his mom, Stephen is survived by his children, Jaxon Rhea, Trenton Fuqua and Raelyn Fuqua all of McMinnville; his siblings, Cindy (David) Callendar of Manchester, James (Sherry) Martin of Morrison, Chris (Lori) Fuqua, Crystal (Anthony) Campbell, Jaime Fuqua Judkins and Tammy Fitts all of McMinnville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A member of the Freedom Life Church, He was a groundskeeper at Bridgestone. Stephen was a huge UT Football fanatic and loved going to games. He also was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Stephen enjoyed playing Xbox games and was an animal lover. Most of all, Stephen loved and adored his children. They were the most important part of his life and anytime with them making memories is what he loved the most.
The Fuqua family will receive friends Monday, September 21, 2026 beginning at 12:00 Noon at Freedom Life Church. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M. with Bro. Anthony Campbell officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Gardens of Memory.
The Fuqua Family is requesting in honor of Stephen and his love for UT Vols that everyone in attendance wear Orange and White.
