OBITUARY: Jerris Ann Campbell

Jerris Ann Hines Campbell, age 89, of Liberty passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at Woodbury Health & Rehab Center. She was born to her parents, the late John & Ruth Green Hines in Kennett, MO on March 10, 1937.

She is survived by her children, Robin Gunter of Smithville, Michael (Sharon) Campbell of Gassaway; & Jill Ellis of Liberty; Brother, Tommy Gerald Hines of Collinsville, IL; 9 Grandchildren, Tina Gunter, Jennifer Gunter, Jessica Campbell Johnson, Timothy Richardson, Ricky Spiers, Miranda Ellis, Andrew Ellis, Bradley Campbell, & Sierra Campbell. 24 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Campbell; Son, Mark Campbell; and Sister, Donna Kay Hines Keene.

Ms. Campbell was a member of the church of Christ and was a seamstress and a day care worker. She loved to sew and craft, but her pride and joy were her grandbabies.

Funeral Services will be at 1 PM Thursday, September 3, 2026 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Hancock officiating. Interment will follow at Sycamore Cemetery. The family will receive friends for the visitation from 10 AM until time of the service on Thursday. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
