Former Middle Tennessee State University soccer player Savannah Stair died after a single-vehicle crash in Nashville Friday night.
Stair, 28, of Nashville, was the driver of a Toyota 4Runner involved in an 11 p.m. crash on Great Circle Road. The preliminary investigation found the Toyota was traveling eastbound when it ran off the road at a curve, struck a curb and overturned.
Stair was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died from her injuries.
MNPD said there were no indications of impairment at the scene.
Stair played with the Blue Raiders’ women’s soccer team from 2016 through 2019.
