A Florida man has been indicted and arrested after a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation investigation found he allegedly sexually assaulted two patients while working as a social worker at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
The TBI began investigating Robert Bailey, 54, in June 2025 after receiving allegations of sexual misconduct.
Investigators said Bailey sexually assaulted two patients between Sept. 24, 2024, and April 28, 2025, while employed at the hospital.
A Davidson County Grand Jury indicted Bailey on one count of rape and one count of sexual battery on Aug. 6.
On Tuesday, deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrested Bailey at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida. He is expected to be extradited to Tennessee and booked into the Davidson County Jail.
Investigators believe Bailey may have victimized additional women and are asking anyone with information about possible crimes involving him to come forward.
The charges are allegations, and Bailey is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
