In a letter to shareholders, Executive Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis announced that the parent company will now operate as Neighborhood Intelligence. Alongside the name change, the company will switch stock exchanges, moving from the New York Stock Exchange to the Nasdaq under the new ticker symbol NXH. The company’s final day trading on the NYSE will be August 14, with its Nasdaq debut set for August 17.

Lemonis said the decision to relocate corporate headquarters to Nashville reflects the culture the company is building and the talent it hopes to attract going forward. He noted that Nashville is already home to several of the company’s largest businesses and offers a strong environment for entrepreneurship, technology, creativity and collaboration.

The exact location of its headquarters was not shared, but a LinkedIn post by Bed Bath & Beyond’s chief of staff, Starr Hudgens, says the company’s headquarters is located in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, reports the Nashville Business Journal.

The name change does not affect the company’s consumer-facing brands. Bed Bath & Beyond, The Container Store, Kirkland’s, Lumber Liquidators, Cabinets To Go, Overstock, and buybuy BABY will continue operating under their existing names.

According to Lemonis, Neighborhood Intelligence is meant to function as an “intelligence layer” connecting those brands and the company’s broader operations — spanning retail, home services, and home-ownership businesses — rather than replacing them.

Lemonis described the rebrand as an effort to better align how the market perceives the company with what it has actually become: a diversified platform built around three pillars — Omni-Channel Retail, Home Services, and Home Ownership — rather than a single retail chain.

The relocation and rebrand come as the company reports two consecutive quarters of revenue growth, following 19 straight quarters of decline, and eight quarters of what Lemonis called meaningful operating improvement.
