The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Tennessee Chapter will host the Out of the Darkness Cannon County Walk on Oct. 10 in Woodbury.
The walk is designed to bring together people affected by suicide and provide an opportunity to find support, connect with others and help raise awareness. The event will include an opening ceremony, activities focused on hope and healing, resource tables and complimentary honor beads for every participant.
The walk will cover a route between 1 and 3 miles.
Funds raised through the Cannon County Walk will support suicide prevention research, advocacy efforts and educational programs in schools, workplaces and communities across Tennessee.
