The New Nissan Stadium is steadily taking shape, according to a construction update shared on the project’s website. More Sports News
Inside the stadium bowl, crews have installed field drainage piping, field goal post foundations, and pylon camera foundations. The Daktronics team has also been installing the game clocks, the west LED board, and the main concourse ribbon board.
The building’s exterior has undergone a major transformation as well, with stone, metal panels, brick, and a now-completed glass curtainwall system giving the site the look of a stadium rather than a construction zone. Finishing the curtainwall allowed crews to remove the temporary outdoor elevator system; they’ll now move through the building using interior service, freight, and passenger elevators instead.
The Nissan Stadium letters are up on the north and south sides, with east and west installations still to come. Progress is also visible on the stadium’s roof, with the first ETFE cushions installed on August 31. Those cushions will eventually enclose the building, allowing sunlight in while protecting fans from the weather.
Outside the stadium, sidewalks are complete along Interstate Drive, and concrete paver installation at the West Entry is underway. Fans can purchase their own paver as part of the project.
Inside, concrete aisle steps are fully complete, and crews from Irwin Seating Company are set to begin installing the first seats this September. The community room’s glass wall installation is finished, drywall work is well underway, and crews are moving on to wooden doors and window treatments throughout the building.
Finishing touches are progressing as well: tile installation is more than halfway complete across the event, mezzanine, concourse, and suite levels, and new carpet and tile are already in place in areas including the visiting team locker room. Custom millwork — including bookcases, bars, counters, and shelving — is being installed in suites, restrooms, entryways, mezzanine bars, and grab-and-go areas.
Work is also set to begin in November on a new connector to the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, designed to maintain pedestrian and greenway access during bridge reconstruction. That project is expected to be completed in 2027, and the current bridge will remain open throughout construction.
Separately, the Titans have announced the Titans Legacy Bricks program, allowing fans to purchase an engraved paver for installation on the West Plaza of the new stadium. Bricks are available in 4×8 and 8×8 sizes with the stadium logo and three to six lines of text, with prices starting at $150. Find more information here.
