Kenny Chesney is the first headliner announced to perform at Nashville’s new Nissan Stadium for his Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 on July 3, 2027. More Entertainment News
The Tennessee native has a long history with Nissan Stadium, making six tour stops at the current venue more than any other artist.
Chesney’s new all-stadium tour will kick off April 24 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and run through Aug. 28 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
Joining Chesney for the full tour will be Eric Church and Sheryl Crow, with East Tennessee singer-songwriter Greylan James opening the shows.
“When we started to talk about touring next year, all I could think about was how good those stadiums feel… how loud, how fast, how much energy comes hurling at us,” Chesney said in a release. “I don’t think I knew how much I missed it.”
Church previously toured with Chesney on the 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour, while Crow is a longtime friend and collaborator.
The tour name nods to Chesney’s original “Vibe Room,” a backstage gathering place he created during his 2002 No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems Tour.
The Nashville concert will also mark one of the first major shows announced for the new Nissan Stadium, which is scheduled for completion in February 2027. Major concerts and events are expected to begin at the stadium in April, with additional announcements expected in the coming months.
Chesney’s 2027 tour follows the release of new music from his album Silver Sands Marina, including the single “Carry On.”
