Angel Studios is bringing RUNNER to Franklin for two special opening-weekend screenings featuring live audience Q&A sessions with director Scott Waugh. Click for More Events
The screenings will take place Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12, at 7:15 p.m. at AMC DINE-IN Thoroughbred 20, 633 Frazier Drive, Franklin. Waugh will join a live Q&A after each showing.
RUNNER stars Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson in an action thriller centered on an unlikely partnership and a race against time. Ritchson plays a former soldier who becomes caught in a deadly manhunt after a critical medical delivery puts him and Wilson in the crosshairs of a ruthless cartel.
The film opens nationwide Friday, Sept. 11.
Early reviews have compared RUNNER to the buddy-action movies that were popular throughout the 1980s and 1990s, blending high-stakes action with the chemistry between its two lead characters.
The Franklin screenings give local moviegoers a chance to see the film during its opening weekend and hear directly from Waugh about how the movie was made. Find tickets here.
