GRAMMY-nominated songwriter Laura Veltz will be joined by Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde and Luke Dick for a special songwriter round at The Listening Room Cafe on Nov. 4. More Entertainment News
The intimate event will feature the four songwriters performing some of their best-known songs and sharing the stories behind them. Together, the group has earned a combined 29 GRAMMY nominations and two wins.
The evening will also serve as a fundraiser for The M.A.D. Mavericks, a Nashville 12U baseball team raising money for a trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park in New York next year. The experience includes a week of youth baseball and access to the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
A silent auction will also be held featuring music memorabilia connected to songs performed during the event, including signed handwritten lyrics, instruments and other items.
“The idea that I can send a quick text to my dear friends, Maren, Ashley & Luke, who happen to be some of the most talented music people on earth — and my neighbors — is one of the craziest parts of being a Nashville songwriter,” Veltz said.
Veltz is a five-time GRAMMY-nominated songwriter whose songs have been recorded by Morris, McBryde, Dan + Shay, Demi Lovato, Ella Langley, Shaboozey, Blessing Offor and others. She has also had dozens of cuts this year from artists including Jessie Murph, Stella Lefty, Drew Baldridge and Anne Wilson.
