Mr. Donald Earl Holley, 67, beloved husband of Mrs. Rhonda Lee Holley, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 29, 2026.

A Celebration of Donald’s life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina 29829, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Donald was preceded in death by his beloved son, Eric Holley, and his brother, Kenneth Raymond “Kenny” Holley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his devoted wife, Rhonda Lee Holley; his children, Caitlin Nicole Holley, Jessica Taylor (Eddie), and James Mock (Amalia); his sister, Sandra Williams (Chuck); and his treasured grandchildren, Avian Boswell and Landon Taylor, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Donald was the son of the late Chief Master Sgt. Raymond P. Holley, United States Air Force (Retired), and Mrs. Jeanette Keenan Holley. A dedicated electrician, he retired from AGY in Aiken, South Carolina, after 25 years of faithful service, earning the respect of his coworkers through his strong work ethic and dependable nature.

Donald found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether casting a fishing line, spending time in the woods hunting, or enjoying the outdoors, he was happiest when surrounded by nature. In his younger years, he loved playing baseball and softball, and one of his greatest blessings was sharing that passion with his daughter, Caitlin. He delighted in teaching her how to play and pitch, and there was no place he would rather be than cheering her on from the sidelines. Those moments together became treasured memories that reflected the deep love and pride he had for his family.

Donald also had a special place in his heart for animals. He loved both dogs and cats, and his loyal companion, Goose, brought him endless comfort, laughter, and faithful companionship.

Donald treasured time with his family, creating countless cherished memories around holiday dinners, family gatherings, and special celebrations. One of his greatest joys was watching the children excitedly hand out Christmas presents, a tradition that always brought a smile to his face. He deeply loved his parents, siblings, and extended family, and was devoted to the family he and his beloved wife built together. His love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those closest to him will be remembered always.

Above all, Donald will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a man whose quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched and in the stories that will be shared for generations.
