The U.S. Marshals Service is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted by Metro Nashville Police on two counts of rape, WSMV reports.
Michael Shane Vaughan, 46, is wanted in connection with a September incident in Nashville. According to the U.S. Marshals Service, he has not been seen since the alleged crimes occurred about nine months ago.
Investigators said Vaughan reportedly told family members he planned to flee to Alaska, where he has previously lived. He is originally from Greer, South Carolina.
Vaughan is described as white with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
