Nashville travelers will soon have a new place to relax before their flights as Southwest Airlines has announced its first-ever airport lounges.

The Nashville lounge will be about 30,200 square feet and will be located after security in the central lobby on the mezzanine level of the BNA Marketplace.

Southwest announced Wednesday that construction is underway on a new lounge in Nashville as well as Austin, Baltimore and Honolulu. The first guests are expected to be welcomed in late 2027.

Southwest is partnering with Chase on the lounges, which will feature dining inspired by each location, upgraded amenities and spaces for travelers to relax.

The airline plans to open at least seven more lounges at other airports in the coming years.

Access to the lounges will be available through a new premium Southwest Rapid Rewards credit card issued by Chase, which is expected to launch in 2027.
