Ryman Auditorium and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will bring “Rock the Ryman” back to Nashville on Tuesday, September 1, for an evening celebrating the connection between rock & roll and country music. More Entertainment News
Returning for its second year, the concert will honor the legacy and influence of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees who have performed on the Ryman’s historic stage.
The event will be hosted by 2014 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee John Oates and will feature performances by Devon Allman, ROME, Sam Bush, Spencer Sutherland, Wynonna and YOLA, with additional artists to be announced. Each performer will select songs by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees who helped shape their own musical careers.
Sponsored by Gibson and its philanthropic division, Gibson Gives, “Rock the Ryman” will explore how country music helped influence rock & roll and how the genres continue to intersect across Americana, country and contemporary music.
The concert is part of an ongoing partnership between the Ryman and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame that began after the Nashville venue was officially designated a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark in 2022.
The partnership also includes a permanent exhibit available during the Ryman’s daytime tours. The exhibit features a rotating collection of memorabilia and stories connected to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees who have performed at the venue.
New items added to the exhibit for summer and fall 2026 include Slash’s Gibson “Appetite for Destruction” Les Paul prototype, a custom jacket and boots worn by James Brown, a silk crepe tunic worn by Etta James, and a vest and leather top hat worn by Bob Dylan in 1987.
The exhibit will also feature a white tuxedo shirt, tuxedo-style trousers, and shoes worn by Jerry Lee Lewis during live performances.
Tickets to the “Rock the Ryman” concert are on sale now at ryman.com. Proceeds from the event will help preserve and celebrate the history of rock & roll and support education initiatives at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Ryman Auditorium.
