SUSAN ANNETTE PARTIN HILL, age 48, of Decherd, passed away on August 6, 2026, at her homeplace surrounded by family. She was born August 25, 1977, in Tullahoma, TN to Randall and Patsy Partin. Susan graduated with honors from Franklin County High School where she was active in the school band and various activities. She later graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. She held different positions at Tractor Supply Company, AEDC Credit Union and was a service representative at the Regional Authority. She had recently been building up her own interior painting and remodeling concern in conjunction with Susan’s Cleaning Services.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Randall Partin and grandparents, L. T. and Annie Sue Sherrill and John and Inez Partin. She is survived by her mother, Patsy Sherrill Partin, Decherd; sons, Nathan Sells, Decherd and Daniel Sells, Fayetteville; brother, Steven Partin, Nashville; two aunts, Connie Partin and Carol (Mike} Geer, both of Winchester; former husband, Keith Hill, Decherd and former husband and father of her sons, Russell Sells, Fayetteville.
Susan grew up learning to farm. Her Grandpas always claimed that she was an expert at bailing hay and tending cattle.
She was a sweet and caring person who cherished her two sons and all her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching mystery shows on TV. She had always collected Strawberry Shortcake memorabilia since childhood. She loved shopping and finding bargains. Her favorite summertime enjoyment was eating watermelon.
She was a member of the Gum Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church since her teenage years.
Visitation will be at Grant Funeral Services, LLC in Estill Springs, TN from 1-3 PM on Sunday, August 9, 2026. The service will be at 3 PM with Brother Billy Robison officiating. Interment will follow at the Gum Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
