Mary E. Sebastian, 94, passed away August 23, 2026 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mary was born to the late Lloyd and Mary (Bivens) Dennison in Leachville, Arkansas on March 16, 1932.
Mary attended Greenfield High School. In 1954 she married Robert Fox who preceded her in death in 1997. On October 26, 1997, she married Howard Sebastian who preceded her in death in 2021. Mary worked for Western Electric for 30 years before her retirement. She was a very talented baker. Mary had a loving and kind personality and was always willing to help others. She attended Heritage Baptist Church for many years.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Mary, her husbands, Robert and Howard, her brothers, Harold Dennison, and Bryant Dennison, and a stepdaughter, Rachel Defore.
Mary is survived by her sister, Dorothy Ross, stepchildren, David Wayne (Nancy) Sebastian, Bonnie (Garry) Dalton, Marilyn (John) Harden, Tim (Debbie) Sebastian, one nephew, Mark (Donna) Vise, and a niece, Charla (Donnie) Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 28th from 11-1 at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home. 301 East 8th Street in Clay City. A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. Burial will follow at Beech Cemetery.
