Marion Levoyed Taylor of Manchester, TN passed away on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026 at St. Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro at the age of 87. Mr. Taylor was born in Fayetteville, TN to the late James Marion and Vinnie Bates Taylor. During his life, he worked in Maintenance at both Tennessee Apparel and the Lee plant in Fayetteville, and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Levoyed was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe, Randall, Alf, and Ray Taylor. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Gault Taylor; two sons, David Taylor (Kim), and Randy Taylor (Faren); three sisters, Lavern Tripp, Inez Sintic, and Bobbie Tobbitt; seven grandchildren, Amanda Morgan, Joshua Taylor, Morgan Lowery, Breyer Taylor, Katie Edwards, Samantha Sanders, and Zach Sanders; and 12 great-grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Harper, Holden, Hadley, Grace, Kylie, Dawson, Taylor, Levi, Austin, and Preston.
Visitation for Mr. Taylor will be held on Monday, September 7th, 2026 from 5:00-8:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, September 8th at 2:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mike Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester, TN.
