After stepping into the circle, Horan stated, “Hello, Grand Ole Opry! I can’t believe I’m here. I’m shaking. This is pretty amazing. I’ve been very lucky…to have done some amazing things in the last 15 years of my career, but little did I know that one day I would end up here in the circle at the Grand Ole Opry.”
Later in his performance, Horan mentioned reaching out to Reba McEntire for advice about performing at the Opry. Stating, “I texted Miss Reba this afternoon. I said, ‘Reba, what do I do? I’m scared.’ And she just said, ‘Have fun, Niall. Have fun!’”
Horan performed “Tastes So Good”, “This Town”, and “Old Tricks” — a Thomas Rhett cover, performed with Thomas Rhett, a surprise special guest.
Thomas Rhett and Niall Horan performed at Geodis Park on Thursday, July 9th. Find tickets here.
