Krispy Kreme’s Chocolate Original Glazed doughnuts are coming back this week, and they’re bringing a Halloween twist with them. From Tuesday, Oct. 20, through Thursday, Oct. 22, participating Krispy Kreme shops across the U.S. will offer a limited-edition Taz Chocolate Original Glazed Dozen. More Eat & Drink News
What Comes in the Taz Chocolate Original Glazed Dozen
The limited-edition box is inspired by Taz, the Looney Tunes Tasmanian Devil. Each dozen includes nine Chocolate Original Glazed doughnuts and three new Taz Chocolate Tornado Doughnuts. The Tornado Doughnut starts with a Chocolate Original Glazed doughnut, gets a green icing tornado swirl on top, and is dipped in chocolate cookie pieces, Halloween sprinkles and rainbow nonpareils.
How to Get the $5 Taz Dozen Deal
Anyone who buys a dozen doughnuts in-shop or at the drive-thru can add a Taz Chocolate Original Glazed Dozen for $5. The offer is limited to two per guest. For pickup and delivery orders placed through the Krispy Kreme app or website, use promo code BOGO5 to get the deal.
When and Where the Offer Is Available
The Taz dozen will be available for three days only, Oct. 20-22, at participating Krispy Kreme locations nationwide. Because not every shop takes part in limited-time promotions, it’s a good idea to check with your local Krispy Kreme before heading out.
Free Doughnuts for Costumes on Oct. 30 and Halloween
Krispy Kreme is also bringing back its costume giveaway. Anyone who visits a participating shop in costume on Friday, Oct. 30, or Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, can get a free Original Glazed or Classic Ring Doughnut. No purchase is needed.
Looney Tunes Halloween Collection Doughnuts
The Taz dozen joins Krispy Kreme’s broader Looney Tunes Halloween lineup, created in partnership with Warner Bros. Global Consumer Products. The Looney Tunes Halloween Collection comes in a custom Halloween-themed box and features four new doughnuts:
- Bugs Bunny Doughnut
- Tweety and Sylvester Doughnut
- Taz Doughnut
- Lola Bunny Doughnut
