“The Kelly Sutton Show” airs weekdays from 6 to 10 a.m. on 650 AM WSM. Sutton, a CMA and ACM Award-nominated broadcaster and the first female Grand Ole Opry announcer, leads the program with a mix of country music news, artist interviews, storytelling and listener interaction. Sutton previously co-hosted WSM’s “Coffee, Country & Cody” for five years alongside the late Bill Cody.

“I am truly honored to be entrusted with carrying on the incredible legacy of WSM Radio,” Sutton said in a release. “Being part of Coffee, Country & Cody for the past five years has been one of the greatest privileges of my career.”

Sutton said Cody was both a mentor and a close friend, adding that she hopes the new show will continue the station’s tradition of creating a strong connection with listeners.

Longtime WSM personality and Grand Ole Opry host Charlie Mattos will serve as producer and co-host, along with WSM Studio Director Annie Ney. Amber Anderson, Sutton’s Amazon Music co-host and fellow WSM personality, will also regularly contribute to the show.

Segments from the morning program will also be streamed across WSM’s social media platforms. Sutton has spent more than two decades covering entertainment and country music for broadcast networks and media outlets. In addition to her new WSM role, she will continue hosting the nationally syndicated “Y’all Access with Kelly Sutton,” Amazon Music’s “Country Heat Weekly” podcast and “The Nashville Show” on Absolute Radio Country in the United Kingdom.

“The Kelly Sutton Show” premiered Aug. 10 and will air live weekdays from 6 to 10 a.m. CT. Listeners can tune in on 650 AM WSM, WSMRadio.com, the WSM app or iHeartRadio
