Nashville entrepreneur and Gigi’s Cupcakes founder Gigi Butler has launched a new cooking and faith-based television series, now airing Saturdays on Christian Television Network (CTN). More Entertainment News
“In the Kitchen with Gigi — Great Ingredients and Great Inspirations” premiered Sept. 5 and airs Saturdays at 11 a.m. Central, with episodes also available on demand through CTN and additional streaming platforms.
The series combines food and conversation as Butler welcomes guests into the kitchen to prepare recipes and talk about their personal journeys, including faith, challenges and pivotal moments in their lives.
“I believe something special happens when people sit down together at the table,” Butler said in a release. “Food has a way of bringing down walls. It creates conversation, connection, and community.”
Guests featured on the series include Danny Gokey, John Rich, Jo Dee Messina, Zach Williams, Karen Kingsbury, Point of Grace and Peter Demos, among others.
Rather than focusing solely on their careers, guests share stories about difficult decisions, challenges and experiences that shaped their faith.
“Every person has a story,” said Sandra Lee, producer and director of the series. “We wanted to create a show where those stories could be shared in an authentic and welcoming environment.”
Butler, who founded Gigi’s Cupcakes in Nashville, has since expanded her career as an author and speaker. She created the new series with Lee through Butler Lee Faith Productions, LLC.
New episodes of “In the Kitchen with Gigi” air Saturdays at 11 a.m. Central on CTN, with episodes also available on demand.
