Father’s Day Weekend-Music City Grand Prix
Saturday-Sunday, June 20-21, 2026
Guests will have the chance to get up close to an official INDYCAR and two race-themed Honda Civics stationed throughout the zoo. At each stop, fans can snap photos, score exclusive race-day swag and enter for a chance to win tickets to the race.
Pride Day at the Zoo

Join in for Pride Day, supported by the TN Pride Chamber, to celebrate love and families in all of their forms across the Animal Kingdom! Visit the Unseen New World Plaza from 9 am to 2 pm to partake in these festivities.
World Giraffe Day

Join in at the Masai giraffe habitat as we celebrate the world’s tallest land mammal during World Giraffe Day! From 10 am to 2 pm, guests of all ages can enjoy giraffe-themed fun.

Every Saturday in July and August, cool off with splashy fun! There will be a slip-and-slide, animal-themed sprinklers, a bubble zone, and splash pools.
Fall Zzzoofari Slumber

Join in for a unique overnight camping experience as you sleep under the stars just a short distance away from the snoozing animals.
Recommended for families with kids ages 4-12, Zzzoofari Slumber features a variety of activities in the evening and breakfast the next morning.
Sunset Safari

This year’s Sunset Safari will have you traveling “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” for an enchanting evening of food and fun! Nashville Zoo’s signature fundraising event, invites guests to follow the yellow brick road for an unforgettable night of lively music, phenomenal flavors and wild experiences.
BOOze at the Zoo
