The Estate of Dolly Parton announced that DOLLYFEST, an official Team Dolly-produced celebration honoring the global music icon, will take place in Nashville and London over two consecutive weekends in 2027. More Entertainment News
The event was originally envisioned as a multi-artist celebration in Nashville in January 2026, with Parton serving as both performer and host. Organizers now say the concept will expand into a two-city, two-continent celebration of her life, music and legacy.
“What Dolly started, we will ensure is brought to life,” said Danny Nozell, founder and CEO of CTK Enterprises in a release. Nozell said DOLLYFEST was a longtime dream of Parton’s and had originally been planned to coincide with her 80th birthday in Nashville.
According to Nozell, a venue had already been booked, and an announcement was being prepared before Parton stepped back from some commitments in August 2025 because of health challenges.
“A lot of people always say, WWDD — ‘What Would Dolly Do?’ — and, well, at this moment, DOLLYFEST is WDWD — ‘What Dolly Would Do,’” Nozell said.
While numerous events, performances and programs are expected to honor Parton this fall, her estate says DOLLYFEST will serve as the large-scale celebration she had envisioned sharing with fans around the world.
Nozell emphasized that the estate is not discouraging other tributes to Parton, but said she did not want a traditional memorial.
“Instead, it feels more appropriate for us to take a beat, let all the tributes that immediately make sense occur naturally, and then see through this festival-style concept that was truly dreamed up by Dolly,” Nozell said.
Additional details about DOLLYFEST, including dates, venues, performers and ticket information, have not yet been announced.
