What to Expect at the Smyrna Opening
The restaurant will kick off with a Rib’n & Ribbon Cutting ceremony alongside the Rutherford County Chamber at 10 a.m. The first 50 guests through the door will receive a gift bag that includes a City Barbeque T-shirt, a bottle of signature sauce and gift cards ranging from $5 to $50.
City Barbeque Menu at the Smyrna Location
The Smyrna joint serves the full City Barbeque menu, with meats smoked on-site daily by pitmasters over hickory wood. Guests can order from a lineup that includes:
- Award-winning brisket
- Hand-rubbed St. Louis ribs
- Carolina pulled pork
- Smoked turkey and chicken
- Mac and cheese
- Baked beans
- Collard greens
- Fried okra
- Coleslaw
Hours, Services and Location Details
The Smyrna location is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The joint features a patio, drive-thru, dine-in seating and options for carryout, delivery and catering for gatherings of all sizes.

City Barbeque has been operating since 1999, building its reputation on meats smoked on-site over hickory wood and sides and desserts prepared fresh in-house daily. The chain previously opened a location in nearby Murfreesboro before expanding to Smyrna.
