Before the public opening, Young hosted a private VIP celebration, giving friends, artists, athletes and entertainment personalities an early look at the new space. Guests included FOX’s Farmer Wants A Wife stars Braden Pridemore and Brett Maverick, former NFL linebacker Miles Burris, Breland, Shaylen, Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick, among others.

The bar takes its name from Young’s multi-week No. 1 hit “Famous Friends” and was created as a nod to hometown pride, friendships and the relationships that have helped shape his career.

“This has been a passion project of mine for a long time. I’ve talked about opening a bar for years, and I wanted to create a true sports bar that still feels like a great place to hang out—even when there’s not a game on. At Famous Friends, we have the ability to show up to seven different games at once, so fans never have to miss the action,” said Chris Young in a release.

Famous Friends is designed as a sports and entertainment destination, offering wall-to-wall game coverage, food and drinks, and a place for locals and visitors to gather for game days, nights out and special occasions.

With its Midtown location and Nashville connection, Famous Friends is expected to become a new go-to spot for sports fans and country music fans alike.
