Get ready to kick off the holiday season in style! On Saturday, December 7, 2024, Auburntown will host its Christmas Tree Lighting and Remembrance Tree Celebration.
The festive gathering will take place at C.S. Hawkins Park on O’Neal Street, starting at 5:00 PM.
Highlights include a special musical performance by the Arts Center of Cannon County’s production of Elf Jr. The evening will also feature Auburntown Mayor Turney leading the countdown to the tree lighting. Adding to the excitement, The Alley on Main will present the 2024 Person of the Year award.
Each household attending the event will receive the exclusive 2024 Auburntown Ornament, available only during the ceremony and while supplies last.
Following the tree lighting, attendees are invited to take part in the Community Stroll & Stop. Thanks to the generosity of Wildwood Christmas Tree Farm, this year’s event promises to be a night of community spirit and holiday magic.
