With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Lynn Raby, who passed away on October 26, 2026, at age 63. Donna was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, treasured great-grandmother, beloved sister, and loyal friend. She was known for her beautiful smile, caring heart, and unwavering love for her family. Donna never met a stranger, and her kindness, compassion, and generosity touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She always put others before herself and found joy in caring for those she loved.
Donna’s greatest pride and accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted mother to her children, Rachel Raby and Cory McCormick, and Natalie and Jason Brewer. Her love and guidance will continue to live on through them.
She was a beloved grandmother to Candice Samantha Trythall, Steven Smith III, Trevor Welch, Jordon Smith, Raina McCormick, Bentley Brewer, and Brynlee McCormick. Nothing brought Donna more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren. They were truly the light of her life, and she cherished every moment shared with them.
Donna was also blessed to be a loving great-grandmother to Zaiden Martin, Aesoh Martin, and Soelia Ellis of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She treasured watching her family grow and took immense pride in each of her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her siblings, William David Craven Jr. and Katherine Laurel Craven of Arizona, and James Charles Craven and Rebecca Craven of West Virginia, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Donna was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Eleanor Jean Johnson and William David Craven of Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Though her passing breaks our hearts, we find comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind. Donna’s beautiful smile could light up any room, and her loving spirit comforted and encouraged so many. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and unconditional love will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life to follow in the chapel.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
