Based on the cult-classic film, the musical follows longtime frenemies Madeline Ashton and Helen Sharp, whose rivalry takes a supernatural turn after they drink a mysterious potion that restores their youth and beauty. Their renewed lives quickly become complicated by old grudges—and the unexpected consequences of immortality.
“Death Becomes Her” is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli, with a book by Marco Pennette and an original score by Julia Mattison and Noel Carey. The production opened on Broadway in November 2024.
