The Grand Ole Opry, presented by Humana, is celebrating Opry 100 throughout 2025 and will keep the party going all four weeks in October. The Opry’s 100th “Rhinestone Milestone” birthday will be celebrated all month long with birthday shows, plaza parties, special fan activations, surprises, and more. Birthday month kicks off in a huge way throughout the first weekend in October featuring special Opry Birthday Plaza Parties, sponsored by Durango Boots, COUNTRY Financial and Boot Barn, on October 3, 4, and 5 and a milestone Opry 100 show celebrating 100 years of WSM, radio home of the Opry, on October 5. Additionally, Opry Community Day will be held for all Tennessee residents on October 5.
Performances throughout the month of October already scheduled include Opry members Patty Loveless, Carrie Underwood, Jamey Johnson, Crystal Gayle, Terri Clark, Pam Tillis, Scotty McCreery, Vince Gill, Trace Adkins, Lauren Alaina, Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show, Ricky Skaggs, Dailey & Vincent, The Gatlin Brothers, Henry Cho, Bill Anderson, Steve Wariner, Gary Mule Deer, The Isaacs, and more.
Unique “Rhinestone Milestone” birthday packages include a ticket to a Saturday Opry birthday show and access to the preshow Birthday Tailgate Party held in Studio A where iconic TV shows like Hee-Haw, Nashville, and CMT Crossroads were filmed. The tailgate will feature a live set from multi-award winning Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member Rhett Akins (ACM Songwriter of the Decade), a behind the scenes tour, birthday cake and an exclusive commemorative poster.

- Tailgate Performance with Rhett Akins (Saturdays @ 2 p.m.): The celebration continues each Saturday throughout October at 2 p.m. with an exclusive ticketed Birthday Tailgate Party in Studio A. Akins, ACM Songwriter of the Decade and a member of Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame, will perform some of his #1 hits along with fan-favorite country classics. - Grand Ole Opry Celebrates 100 Years of WSM (Sunday, Oct. 5): The centennial celebration of the Opry’s radio home for the past 100 years – WSM. In addition to the Opry performances you know and love, this milestone Opry 100 show will highlight 10 decades of music, milestones, and memories featuring special guests, WSM personalities, and more as we honor 100 years of the Air Castle of the South.
- Opry Community Day (10/5 @ 9 a.m – 4 p.m.): The Opry’s 100th Birthday Week kickoff celebration will include the fourth annual Opry Community Day on Sunday, October 5.
Tennessee residents, with proof of a valid Tennessee ID can sign up for a FREE guided backstage tour of the iconic Opry House, explore artist-only areas, hear insider stories from expert guides, and even stand inside the famous circle on stage. Opry Community Day will also include live music, facepainting, Opry bingo, backyard games, line dancing, food trucks, and more! The event is sponsored by COUNTRY Financial, Humana, Kroger, Mid-South Ford Dealers, and Vanderbilt Health.

Connie Smith will celebrate her 60th Anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member on October 8. The special Wednesday night Opry will include performances by Marty Stuart, Sierra Ferrell and more.
“Opry 100 Honors” series of shows, sponsored by Dan Post, paying tribute to several of the icons who have helped shape the Opry’s first century: “Opry 100 Honors Bill Monroe” (September 16) and “Opry 100 Honors Minnie Pearl and Roy Acuff” (October 18).
Opry’s first-ever live international broadcast from London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on September 26. Opry members Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Darius Rucker and Marty Stuart will headline 2025. Tickets to the show available at royalalberthall.com.
The Opry will welcome Steve Earle (Sept 17) and Kathy Mattea (Oct 11) as the newest members of the Grand Ole Opry family.
On November 28, the Opry will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its November 28, 1925 inaugural broadcast with an all-star Opry member show. More details to come.
On March 20, 2026, Nashville’s legendary Grand Ole Opry, marking 100 years of American entertainment, is making a rare visit to New York’s Carnegie Hall for a special night of country music, “An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry.” The evening is part of Carnegie Hall’s United in Sound: America at 250 festival reflecting on the 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
