Mrs. Jean Kemp Holland, age 92 of Defeated Creek, died Thursday morning, July 24 at Riverview Regional in Carthage.
She is survived by:
- son, Jeff Kemp and wife Teresa of Little Salt Lick;
- sister, Pat Kittrell Bush of Defeated Creek;
- 5 grandchildren:
- Amy Brodie of Defeated Creek,
- Dustin Kemp and wife Kristen of Lebanon,
- James Kemp III and wife Anita of Gallatin,
- Jeanette Shanks and husband Jason of Silver Point,
- Kayla Keaton and husband Dusty of Sykes;
- 16 great-grandchildren;
- 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Holland is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Saturday morning, July 26 at 11:00 AM. Eld. Charles Patterson will officiate. Interment in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are: Ethan Claridy, Dusty Keaton, Jordan Key, Grayson Kemp, Nolan Kemp, Leslie Bush.
Visitation at the Carthage Chapel will begin on Friday morning from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
