The recall was announced Oct. 30 and published by the FDA on Nov. 2. The recall covers all flavors and lot codes of the toddler snacks, including expired products that may still be on store shelves, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The company said the snacks can rapidly absorb moisture from saliva and become a dense, dry and sticky mass during chewing. The condition could create a choking risk for toddlers between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 years old. The products were distributed nationwide, including Puerto Rico, through online sales and retail stores.

The recalled products include:

– Tractor Wheels – Strawberry, Pumpkin & Beet, in five-count and 10-count packages.
– Tractor Wheels – Apple, Sweet Potato & Spinach, in five-count and 10-count packages.
– Tractor Wheels – Banana, Pumpkin & Cauliflower, in five-count packages.
– 20-count variety packs containing Strawberry, Pumpkin & Beet and Apple, Sweet Potato & Spinach.
– 30-count variety packs containing all three flavors.
– Online-only Baby & Toddler Snack Sampler Packs containing five-count cartons of Tractor Wheels.

The company said the recall was prompted by three consumer complaints of choking reported to the FDA. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers who purchased the recalled products should not open the packages or eat the snacks. They can return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund or contact Once Upon A Farm at care@uponafarm.com.
