Antifreeze was stored on the kitchen floor and there were no paper towels at the hand sink. Inspectors embargoed 8 lbs of food: 3 lbs of vacuum-sealed fish thawed in its packaging and 5 lbs of cooked beef and chicken dated 10/18 and 10/19. No repeat violations were noted, and a follow-up is required.

Sonic #3835 | 215 Cason Ln, Murfreesboro | 81 | 10/29/2026
Inspectors cited 6 violations. The ice cream and slush machines were being cleaned only once a week instead of every 24 hours. An employee washed hands at the three-compartment sink rather than the hand sink, and the front hand sink was out of paper towels. A sanitizer bucket was also stored next to the ice bin and drink lids. No food was embargoed and no repeat violations were noted, but a follow-up is required.

Here are the scores, according to the health department’s latest available information. Department of Health environmental specialists inspect every establishment where food and beverages are prepared and served at least twice a year.

Food service establishments are required to post their most recent inspection report in a prominent location where it can be seen by the public, and inspection reports are available for review at Tennessee’s county health department locations.
