Worsham will be joined by several artists he has worked with throughout his career, including Opry members Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, Vince Gill, Old Crow Medicine Show, Marty Stuart, and Lainey Wilson, with additional performers expected.
Worsham received his invitation to join the Opry in August from longtime friend and mentor Vince Gill during Gill’s sold-out residency at the Ryman Auditorium. The surprise came on the 20th anniversary of Worsham’s move to Nashville.
A native of Grenada, Mississippi, Worsham made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 1997 at just 12, as a Junior National Banjo Champion. He later attended Berklee College of Music in Boston before pursuing a career in Nashville.
Throughout his career, Worsham has performed alongside some of country music’s biggest names, including Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Kenny Rogers and Brad Paisley. He has also contributed to albums by Eric Church, Luke Combs and Chris Shiflett.
In addition to his solo career, Worsham has served as lead guitarist for Dierks Bentley and currently performs in Gill’s touring band.
His musicianship has earned him several industry honors, including ACM Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year, CMA Musician of the Year and CMA Touring Musician of the Year.
