Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics will take place Sunday, Oct. 25, at 8:45 p.m. inside The Parthenon. Tickets start at $36.22.

The concert will feature Nashville-based musicians performing in a setting illuminated by thousands of candles. The program is built around mystery, suspense and the supernatural, with selections expected to include Charles Gounod’s “Funeral March of a Marionette,” Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Danse Macabre,” Modest Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain” and Edvard Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King.”

More contemporary selections are also expected, including the theme from Stranger Things, music from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Organizers note that programming can vary by city, so guests should check the Nashville listing for the final set list.

The event is part of the international Candlelight concert series presented by Fever, which stages live performances in distinctive venues illuminated by candlelight.

Candlelight has expanded to hundreds of cities worldwide, with programs spanning classical works, film scores and tributes to contemporary artists. Its Halloween concerts use the same format while focusing on darker, more atmospheric music for the season.

Tickets for the Nashville performance are available through Fever.
