Beginning Sept. 30, drivers using the rental car facility and valet services at Nashville International Airport will be directed to a newly activated signalized intersection when exiting.
The updated traffic pattern will route vehicles from the rental car facility and valet operations directly to the new intersection. New signs and lane markings will help guide drivers through the area.
The traffic signal provides a protected left turn and connects drivers to I-40 West, I-40 East and Donelson Pike via Exit 216B.
The changes are part of ongoing construction tied to BNA’s new rental car facility and parking garage.
The new facility will have six stories and 3.5 million square feet, with space for 4,700 vehicles. That includes 3,500 ready-return stalls and 1,200 staging and storage spaces.
A new parking garage will also provide 3,000 spaces.
