Coaches are selected based on their accomplishments for the 2025-26 school year
August 20, 2026 -We are proud to announce that TSSAA is again participating in the NFHS Coaches Association Award Program. This program is designed to recognize State Active Coaches of the Year and Sectional Coaches of the Year in each sport sanctioned by the Association. More Sports News
Coaches are selected based on their accomplishments the previous school year. State and Sectional Coach of the Year winners will receive a certificate from the National Federation recognizing their accomplishments. Sectional Award winners will also be considered for the NFHS National Coach of the Year Award. A National committee will select the National Coaches of the Year and these individuals will receive a plaque from the national office recognizing their accomplishment.
